In March, 2006 Doug released a new, non-partisan, book titled "Getting America Right". His co-author was Edwin J. Feulner, President of the Heritage Foundation."Getting America Right" was timely and well received. It quickly became a New York Times Best Seller.

In an effort to address the challenges ahead, Doug continues to write, speak and work with various policy groups and committees.
